The Pilgrim Hotel first contacted me in November 2021, having followed my work on Instagram. The new owners were keen to bring a more contemporary look and feel and they hired me to complete a template bedroom in the hotel's Rectory Rooms area. Built in 1880, the building boasts many original and beautiful features which I was keen to retain. A bold colour pallet added depth and colour and cotton printed wallpaper gave the room a focus and personality. Locally made linen cushions in heritage prints added texture and velvet tub chairs allowed for a more functional yet boutique feel to the space.
